The latest signature of Clippers star forward Paul George, the PG 5, was officially unveiled by Nike.
The depicted PG 5 seems to have a slightly lower profile that that of it predecessor, the PG$, sporting a lightweight mesh and synthetic build at the upper.
Returning is the full-length Air Dot Weld Strobel cushioning from the PG4. According to the brand it consists of “a lightweight footbed made up of a full-length Nike Air unit, sewn onto the upper so that the foot is directly atop the cushioning.” The aim is to produce more responsiveness in the forefoot and plush stability in the heel.
The PG 5 is set to release January 21 at nike.com and select retail establishments; they will carry a $110 USD sticker price.
